COVER STORY: Jonesborough, Tennessee, the state's oldest town, has been celebrating the traditional art of storytelling since 1973. More than 10,000 people gather each fall to listen to three days of some of the best "tellers" in the world.

SCENIC AMERICA: The Little Miami River meanders through southern Ohio starting in Cincinnati. It was among the first waterways in the nation to be designated a Wild and Scenic River.

ON A MUSICAL NOTE: Members of the U.S. Air Force Band share their talents with the public during two tours of the country each year. We witnessed their incredible talent on their swing through the Midwest.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH: Brown County, Indiana is known for its charm and natural beauty as well as the shopping destination in the town of Nashville. And when the leaves change colors, the nearby state park is especially popular with visitors.

TIME CAPSULE: Television played a big part in the presidential election of 1964, even though there were no televised debates. TV commercials were memorable from both parties in what turned out to be a landslide for President Lyndon Johnson.

FALL FEATURE: The Circleville Pumpkin Show has been a fall tradition in central Ohio for more than 100 years. One of the highlights of the event is the display of giant pumpkins, including two pumpkins that weigh more than 1500 pounds each.
